She never missed her childrens sporting events and loved her date nights at the movies with her husband Ryan, which they did for several years. She leaves behind her husband Ryan Wilson of Auburn; her two children Brooke Wight and her husband Mackenzie of Auburn and Ryan J. Wilson II and his fiance Holly Sullivan of Portland; four grandchildren Chloe Martin, Kennadie Wight, Carter Wight and Jacoby Wight; her mother Vivian Cahill of Auburn; two sisters Tammy Sturtevant and husband Ed of Hebron and her daughters Robyn Hollenbeck and Jessica Giard and Penny Malloy and husband Tim of Poland and their children Crystal and Shannon and her "special group" of family and close friends who supported and cared for her and Ryan for the last year and a half. As an alternative to flowers, her family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer donation or the Brave Beanie Project, two organizations Karen believed in. Karen grew up in Auburn, graduated from Edward Little High School with the class of 1981 and attended Westbrook College. Karen Ruth Wilson, age 74, of Alpine, Arizona passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Karen is survived by her husband Robert J Wilson their son Tyler, his wife Melissa, two beautiful grandchildren Emmett and Ella, their daughter Allison Stine and Evan Kinzer-Howell, a sister and brother-in-law Susan and Tim Ranck, a brother-in-law Greg Wilson and Joanna Santilli, two nieces Abby and Jayne Wilson and Arleen and Robert Wilson who became like a mother and father after Karen lost both her parents earlier than she should have. *Sources for the symbolism of moths: Karen passed away on September 18, 2021 at her residence.
